Introduction
Stable Conversion into 2-bed, 2 bathroom guest cottage, Plettenberg Bay
Client brief
To convert an existing stable barn into a luxurious, attractive, fun and quirky 2 bedroom en-suite Airbnb rental cottage on a small-holding
Outcome
Converting 6 stables into a dream 2-bed (en-suite) cottage was a dream-come-true project for us. Being a low-traffic zone, we were allowed to finish the floors with white (yes white) “cemcrete” flooring.
The gorgeous feature fireplace was found in an old junk yard for R600 and given a new lease of life. This tranquil haven in the forest offers a place to sit and dream…(maybe of the gentle horses that once occupied it)
