Introduction
The rebuild and renovation of a very tired and neglected beach front holiday villa on Keurboomstrand in Plettenberg Bay bought on auction by Swiss clients living abroad.
Client brief
For this project we were contracted to consult during the building phase on layout, materials, finishes and design and then manage and install all interior design elements including hardware, cabinetry and soft furnishings. Our client was looking for something extraordinary but hardwearing to accomodate a reasonable amount of footfall and to accomodate a design that didn’t interfere with the magnificent views.
Outcome
Together we were involved from the start of the build and assisted in decision making involving space planning and room configuration. During the build we sourced and supplied all the furnishings, finishes, fixtures, fittings, fabrics, window treatments and soft interiors for our client in order to turn this magnificent villa into a contemporary, incredibly appealing and successful holiday rental.
