Introduction
This project was a holiday home residential refurbishment that we were contracted to implement and manage for the owners living abroad in France.
Design Brief
French owners of this elegant home in Pearl Valley Val de Vie Estate in Paarl had recently bought the property and asked us to help them to transform it from a house into a home. The brief was to design new colour schemes for the bedrooms and living spaces, to make and instal curtains, blinds and headboards and to choose and install new finishes and sanware in order to update and modernise the bathrooms. We also sourced furniture, flooring and lighting for the living spaces, ordered and coordinated deliveries and project managed the building works for our client. The exterior also needed a good clean up and new coat of paint.
Outcome
The works were completed in record time, the bathrooms were renovated and modernized to high standards, new carpets were laid and curtains were hung all in time for our clients to arrive from France to a ready-to-live-in home for Christmas.
